When SRK invited Ganguly to Mannat

It could be the biggest face off of the year. Superstar Shah Rukh Khan recently threw a lavish party at his mansion Mannat in Mumbai for his IPL team, Kolkata Knight Riders and also invited the team of Deccan Chargers and Pune Warriors for the party.Sourav Ganguly was also part of the guest list.

Mumbai: It could be the biggest face off of the year. Superstar Shah Rukh Khan recently threw a lavish party at his mansion Mannat in Mumbai for his IPL team, Kolkata Knight Riders and also invited the team of Deccan Chargers and Pune Warriors for the party as both teams had a match that day in Mumbai. Sourav Ganguly, the ex-KKR captain, who is currently playing for Pune Warriors, was also part of the guest list. Many of Khan’s actor friends were also present at the party like Arjun Rampal, Priyanka Chopra, Shahid Kapoor, Suzanne and Hrithik Roshan. We all know how the relation between Sourav and Shah Rukh Khan have been strained since the time Khan dropped Dada from his team. In fact, the former captain of the Indian cricket team would have missed IPL altogether had Pune not picked him up. The party did see lot of actors and cricketers having a good time but one is not sure if Dada finally made it to the party or decided to give it a miss. Speaking to a daily, a source revealed, “SRK`s parties are much talked about. However, last night was something different, since Khan had invited the cricketers as well as Bollywood at his residence. While he invited everyone from his team, he also extended a friendly hand to the cricketers from Pune Warriors and Deccan Chargers. Obviously, he couldn`t leave out Sourav.” Looks like SRK is trying to extend the olive branch towards Dada. But is Dada willing to take it?
