New Delhi: Aishwarya Rai proves yet again that when it comes managing her professional life with her personal affairs, she is simply terrific. The actress, who is clearly enjoying her blissful days of motherhood made an appearance at an event in the capital to endorse luxury watch brand Longines, which was celebrating its 180 years of existence. Ash, being the brand ambassador of the company complied with her duties of promotion of the brand thereby offering her fans a chance to watch her beauty in full glory.
Looking stunning and in shape, in a black gown and Dolce & Gabbana fitted short jacket, Ash left people gasping at the do as she stepped on to the stage with Shillong Choir Group playing.
Juggling diaper duty and professional commitments, Aishwarya said she was enjoying every bit of being full time mother to Aaradhya and wouldn`t want it any other way.
Ash further said that she doesn’t intend to shield her baby from the public, but from the hounding and incessant flashbulbs paparazzo culture. She said, "I realised this would happen and expected it, and I don`t mean it in a bad way but there are people in my life like my parents who aren`t used to it. And with my baby with me, it`s instinctive. If I see her getting startled or her eyes opening I protect her. It`s not intentional that I want to keep her away."
About her weight under constant scrutiny, Ash said "It`s never been an issue with me. Rather I have moms coming up to me and thanking me, saying that you are just like us. If my weight was an issue I would be under cover."
But, the most important question of all is - when will her fans see her on the big screen? To which Ash said, "Soon. I am finally reading scripts. There are several offers but am slowly getting around to reading scripts now."
