London, May 07: Actress and singer Lindsay Lohan was interrogated by immigration officials in Canada during the weekend and they even considered banning her from the country because of her drunken driving convictions.
The 22-year-old landed at Montreal Airport April 25 for a scheduled nightclub appearance, but was hauled into a backroom by border staff after her 2007 arrests for driving under the influence (DUI) appeared on a computer database, reports contactmusic.com. "Because of her DUIs they didn`t want to let her into the country at first. The customs people gave her a real hard time," said an informed source. Lohan was finally allowed into the country after an hour-long interrogation. IANS
