Mumbai: Seems like 3D fever is fast catching up in Bollywood. After a spate of Hollywood 3D releases that are doing great business in India, many Hindi filmmakers are fancying the idea of providing their film ‘the third’ dimension. Buzz has it that Salman Khan is all set to go 3D! With Shah Rukh’s implementing the 3D technology in ‘Ra.One’ and Akshay Kumar in ‘Joker,’ it is evident that Salman wouldn’t like to be left behind. Hence, Sohail Khan is up for a 3D venture with Salman starrer ‘Sher Khan’. The film’s producer-director, Sallu’s younger brother can’t wait to get started. Talking to daily, Sohail said, “Yes, I plan to make ‘Sher Khan’ related stories in 3D. But we will lock the decision only after getting the final draft of our script.” To be shot majorly in Bangkok, the director planned to use real tigers in the film, before animal rights group PETA kicked up a fuss. Though he hasn’t dropped the idea completely, Sohail has admitted that the scenes with Salman and the tigers together will be shot using computer graphics. Apparently, Salman is also excited about the new technology, which he feels will work wonders for the action adventure. He is believed to have met a few foreign technicians and shown keen interest in learning the intricacies of 3D.
