Ranbir Kapoor to direct mom and dad in a film

Mumbai: Ranbir Kapoor is all set to take the baton of Kapoor khandaan to a whole new level. Buzz has it that the blue-eyed-actor is going to direct a film and the cast will include his father Rishi Kapoor, his mother Neetu and of course, he would be in the lead role. Industry pundits might think that Ranbir’s responsibility is more than what he will be able to handle but daddy Rishi Kapoor is convinced about the film. While Ranbir’s film is still on the cards, Rishi will be seen with Neetu in debutant director Habib Faizal’s ‘Do Dooni Chaar’. Ranbir Kapoor on the other hand is confident about the project. News has it that he wants to produce and direct this family film which apparently will be his career’s first in Bollywood. Speaking to a news daily, Rishi said, “Since my father Raj Kapoor directed his father Prithviraj Kapoor and himself, Ranbir too wants to do the same.” About this film, Ranbir has made it very clear that he will act with his father only if mom Neetu Singh is also in the film. Well, it sounds very interesting but directing the veteran actors might be an uphill climb. Well, the verdict will be out only after the release of Ranbir’s directorial maiden venture!
