Katrina to romance Akshay in ‘Blue’ sequel ‘Aasman’

Mumbai: The fate of Akshay Kumar’s latest debacle ‘Blue’ at the Box Office has had little effect on the filmmakers as a sequel to the money-spinner is already in the pipeline. And those who were disappointed for Akshay not being paired opposite Katrina in ‘Blue’ will have something to cheer about in it’s sequel. After romancing Zayed Khan in her eight minute long role in the film, Katrina will be seen playing Akshay’s ladylove in the film’s next installation.According to sources, the sequel to the film is already in work and will have Akshay romance Katrina while Sanjay will stick by Lara Dutta. As for Zayed Khan, the stunner will be seen romancing a new girl - Neha Uberoi, who is Sanjay’s business manager, Dharam Uberoi’s daughter. . Touted to be titled as ‘Aasman’; the film will also have John Abraham who will have Sonal Chauhan cast opposite him. Confirming the news, director Tony D’Souza said, “I really want to work with John. All I can say is the producers are ready to back me with my next project with the same budget as ‘Blue’. It will start off as an undersea adventure and then move to the sky.”
