London: A new survey conducted has shown that millions of Brits are puzzled as to why Girls Aloud member Cheryl Cole has not dumped her love-rat husband Ashley.Their one question of how Cheryl can stand the Chelsea footballer after he cheated on her with a hairdresser, has put her in fourth place in a list of life’s 50 most confusing things, compiled after a nationwide poll.

Her decision was beaten only by foreign call centres, algebra and “what women see in Russell Brand”. The survey was carried out by price comparison website Confused.com. “The nation is baffled by Cheryl’s devotion to Ashley, particularly when she can probably have any man on the planet,” a news daily quoted a spokesman as saying.
