Buzz has it that after the talented duo tasted success at Box-Office, both actors moved on and began signing movies opposite other actors. However, both Akshay and Katrina struggled to recreate their on-screen magic with other co-stars and courted flops. Indeed, this concern brought them together once again. With ‘Chandni Chowk To China’ proving to be a damp squib at the Box-Office, Akshay had to face the brunt of unsuccessful pairing with lissome Deepika Padukone and so did Katrina, whose flick ‘Yuuvraaj’ opposite Salman proved to be an equally big disaster. According to the latest grapevine, when director Priyandarshan was planning to cast a heroine for his next flick ‘De Dhana Dhan’ opposite Akshay, Akki was quick to recommend lissome Katrina’s name, so as to recreate their lost magic on the silver screen. With Priyadarshan signing Katrina opposite Akshay, it seems both actors are delighted to be together and enjoying their shoot in Singapore.
