Los Angeles: French DJ David Guetta has become the first musician to be inducted into a new hall of fame in Hollywood.
The 44-year-old house musician, who has hit tracks like `Sexy Chick` and `I Gotta Feeling` to his credit, left his mark in cement on Saturday for the music-themed Handprint Homage at Grauman`s Chinese Theater, said The Hollywood Reporter. Guetta inaugurated the new program meant only for musicians. The resulting imprint will be mounted on the wall of the renovated Grauman`s Ballroom, which is the new name of the completely renovated lobby of the Chinese 6 theater complex on the third floor of the theater. Speaking at the event, Guetta said, "That`s really crazy - thank you very much for this honour, (it`s) great to see this DJ culture coming to America." He then performed a 90-minute set in the Grauman`s Ballroom. PTI
