Salman Khan turns down Rs 1.5 crore wedding offer!

He might be flaked for his unprofessional antics, but going by Salman’s latest gesture, it seems the actor has changed for the good. After putting his brother Arbaaz Khan’s flick ‘Dabanng’ on hold endlessly, the macho actor has turned serious for the film as he has returned a whopping sum of Rs 1.5 crore for an event to shoot for the jinxed project. After initially accepting the offer, he declined to perform.

After putting his brother Arbaaz Khan’s flick ‘Dabanng’ on hold endlessly, the macho actor has turned serious for the film as he has returned a whopping sum of Rs 1.5 crore for an event to shoot for the jinxed project. Even though the actor had initially accepted the offer to perform at the wedding reception of Videocon owner Venugopal Dhoot`s brother Pradeep Dhoot`s son Saurabh, he declined the offer at the last moment. And it’s all for Arbaaz’s sake. Confirming the news, a source said, “A major action scene was to be shot with South action director Vijayan, who`d flown down with his stuntmen and Salman did not want to keep them waiting and waste a day of shooting.” As per sources, a few days of shooting was cancelled last week after Khan hurt his hand. And the delay had cost brother Arbaaz dearly. Nevertheless when Sallu heard about the cost incurred by his dear brother he decided to compensate him by shooting extra days for the film and hence cancelled his prior commitments. Talking about the wedding reception that Sallu cancelled, a source said, “Salman spoke to them and explained that he could not perform and sent back the 1.5 crore that he`d been given to perform at the function."
