Los Angeles: He is already a millionaire at the age of 16, but pop sensation Justin Beiber treated Disney star Selena Gomez to a USD 2 ice cream on their date.The `Baby` hitmaker treated his rumored new girlfriend Selena Gomez, 18, to a cheap date which included a stroll on the beach and ice cream, reported People magazine.

The young couple was spotted for the first time publicly holding hands during a stroll down Santa Monica Pier yesterday. The pop star splashed out on the sweet treat at Soda Jerks during the walk and according to the receipt, he paid using his very own Mastercard. Bieber and the `Wizards of Waverly Place` have previously been coy about their budding romance. The pair was first linked back in November but has maintained an official line of "just friends" until recently. PTI
