London: American actor Verne Troyer is convinced that the death of Aussie actor Heath Ledger helped the final cut of the movie ‘The Imaginarium Of Doctor Parnassus’. Troyer, 40, who said that Ledger’s death was “almost meant to be”, found actors Johnny Depp, Jude Law and Colin Farrell being drafted for the late actor’s role very apt, as it fitted very well with the weird fantasy film.
“I don’t really want to say this but it’s almost like it was meant to be because it flows so well. I’d rather have Heath for the whole thing but for some reason it worked,” the Daily Express quoted him as saying. “It was tough. I’m sure everybody else felt the same way I did. I just couldn’t believe it. It was hard to go back to work because you were used to seeing Heath and he just wasn’t there,” he added. ANI
