Actors Deepika, Neil promote `Lafangey Parindey` in Mumbai

Mumbai: Actors Neil Nitin Mukesh and Deepika Padukone, the lead pair of `Lafangey Parindey` promoted their film through an engrossing dance performance.

Directed by Pradeep Sarkar and produced by Aditya Chopra, the movie`s plot revolves around an edgy love story involving a street boxer who fights blindfolded and the visually challenged heroine who wants to make it big as a dancer. The cast of the film interacted with media persons and their fans at a street corner in Mumbai city. "We all enjoyed a lot. We tried to entertain you all and if you liked the show thank you so much, because that was the point of the entire show," said Padukone. Neil said the promotional event helped him to forge a closer relationship with his fans. "I don`t think I have promoted any film in this way and I enjoyed a lot. I have never interacted with such closeness and in this way with my fans, audience and winners," said Neil. The film is set for release, worldwide, on August 20 under the Yash Raj Films banner. ANI
