London: Jordan’s make-up artist best friend has revealed that the former glamour model came to him one night saying that she was raped.
Gary Cockerill has said that the 32-year-old Brit once ended up at his house after coming from a party in the wee hours.
“Are you awake,” Gary recalls what Jordan said.
“God, what’s happened to you? Bit of a long night was it,” Gary said after being amazed by seeing her so late in the night.
“I think I’ve been raped,” Jordan told Gary that night.
“When Kate came in she looked shocking. There was no expression on her face whatsoever and she was deathly pale. Phill and I were momentarily stunned into silence by what she told us,” Gary recalled.
“I don’t know. I’m not sure if you could class it as rape. But I did something that I really didn’t want to do. I was. I was held down. I kept telling him I didn’t want to do it, I told him to stop,” Jordan told Gary and his boyfriend Phill Turner.
“My immediate reaction was to get help. I told her I’d call the police, a doctor, her mum - but Kate was adamant she didn’t want to tell anyone,” News of The World quoted Gary as saying.
“She just kept repeating, ‘I need to think about this, I need to sort this out in my head,’” he added.
“I said, ‘Kate, don’t you think you need to involve the police? This guy raped you,’” he further said.
“But she insisted firmly, ‘No, I need to deal with this in my own way,’” Gary said.
