London: ‘Lord of the Rings’ star Billy Boyd has revealed that he’s broke and earned ‘peanuts’ from the 1.8-billion-pound trilogy.
Billy, 41, who played Frodo’s Pal Peregin ‘Pippin’ Took, has said: "I don`t have any money. “We were unknown actors .We did it for peanuts and for food,” the Sun quoted him saying. However, the actor insisted that he enjoyed being part of the hit series and has no regrets. He said: "Once you get in your head that you`re not going to do anything bigger, you just do things that you enjoy." ANI
