London: Eminem is back with a bang as his recent album `Recovery` has shot to the top of the European charts days after debuting at the top of the US and British countdowns.
`Recovery` also claimed number ones in Ireland, Switzerland, Austria and Denmark and number two debuts in Germany, France and Norway to beat Miley Cyrus` Can`t Be Tamed to the top of the continent`s overall chart, Contactmusic reported.
The 37-year-old rapper, who has won 11 Grammy awards, has received remarkable success with his latest tracks and has been recently ranked by Rolling Stone magazine as one of the `Greatest Artists of All-Time`, Contactmusic reported.
Eminem`s songs in the album are inspired by his love and life. His wife, Kimberley Anne Scott has also been the inspiration behind the blockbuster.
The rapper has overcome a number of hurdles to achieve this success. These include the legal accusations of his mother over the use of alleged slander in his lyrics probational punishment for possessing illegal weapon- which arose due to an argument with an employee.
`Recovery` has beat Miley Cyrus` `Can`t Be Tamed` to top the charts and has shattered all records in Ireland, Switzerland, Austria and Denmark while compromising with number two debuts in Germany, France and Norway.
The Black Eyed Peas` The END (The Energy Never Dies) returns to the top 10 at the third spot, Oasis` hits album `Time Flies-1994-2009` drops a spot to four, and Lady Gaga`s `The Fame` rounds out the new top five.
