Eminem set to return to No. 1 on album chart

Eminem is likely to reclaim the No. 1 spot on the US pop album chart next week.

Los Angeles: After a two-week exile, Eminem is likely to reclaim the No. 1 spot on the US pop album chart next week.
The rapper`s ‘Recovery’ will probably sell between 135,000 and 150,000 copies by week`s end on August 15, enough to dethrone reigning champion Arcade Fire`s ‘The Suburbs.’ The Montreal rock band`s debut chart-topper sold 156,000 copies during its first week -- about 4,000 ahead of Eminem -- but the album is likely suffer a steep second-week slide. The previous week`s leader, rock band Avenged Sevenfold, saw sales of its album ‘Nightmare’ dive 72 percent in its second round. Industry prognosticators believe the chart`s biggest debut will come from either Disney Channel`s soundtrack to ‘Camp Rock 2: the Final Jam’ or perhaps from rock band Black Label Society`s ‘Order of the Black.’ Each title could sell around 40,000 if all sales forecasts hold steady through the week. Mike Posner`s debut album ‘31 Minutes to Takeoff’ and Blake Shelton`s new EP ‘All About Tonight’ are also maybe headed for top-10 debuts, each in the 30,000-unit range. Bureau Report
