London: Simon Cowell was pictured sharing a lingering kiss with Paul Abdul in the preview of ‘The X Factor’.

The smooch of the 51-year-old TV mogul has sparked speculation over whether he is still engaged to his make-up artist fiancee Mezhgan Hussainy or not, after having said recently he was “not sure” whether they were still together. “There is a genuine chemistry between Simon and Paula. They are outrageous flirts,” the Mirror quoted a source as saying. Cowell, who was being followed by cameras backstage, approached the 49-year-old TV personality, saying “how are you, darling?” and kissed her on the lips. He is even said to have lavished compliments on Abdul, something he failed to do while talking about his fiancee on DJ Howard Stern’s US radio show last week. “Working with Simon we ended up cultivating an unhealthy, healthy relationship,” Abdul said in a magazine interview. “There is something that happens when Simon and I get together.
