London: Scottish singing sensation Susan Boyle is the latest star to land a role in a special holiday episode of the hit TV musical `Glee`.The 49-year-old singer, who shot to international fame on Simon Cowell`s show `Britain`s Got Talent`, will have a part in a special festive episode of the series related to a high school glee club, Contactmusic reported.

Meanwhile, several holiday tunes from the episode are expected to be released for download ahead of Boyle`s debut later this year. Boyle`s appearance follows in the footsteps of fellow `Glee` celebrity guests Britney Spears, Javier Bardem and Gwyneth Paltrow. PTI
