Lohan considers prosecuting "deadbeat dad"

London: Troubled star Lindsay Lohan has once again blasted her father Michael Lohan calling him a "disgusting, deadbeat dad" and is reportedly considering prosecuting him after he leaked their phone conversations to the media. The `Mean Girls` star flew into a rage after her dad leaked tearful phone conversations between the two to the press on Wednesday and posted the angry remarks on the micro-blogging site, reported Contactmusic.

"He`s a deadbeat dad. He`s disgusting to do this. He doesn`t deserve attention. He needs help. It really hurts my mom for me and my siblings. I`d feel the same if I were a mother," Lohan wrote. Michael claims that the move was an attempt to help his daughter kick her alleged drug addictions, but Lohan insists she doesn`t need his help and is considering prosecuting him because the leak illegally breached her privacy. The 23-year-old actress also offered some insight into her troubled early years, before Michael and her mother Dina divorced. "She (Dina) blames herself for staying (with) him for so long, I`d beg her not to leave (because) he always threatened to kill her if she did...after disappearing, then coming home after being gone for several days while cheating on my mother and abusing substances," Lohan wrote. "It`s so sad that I even have to share this (with) everyone, but I haven`t had a real relationship (with) Michael Sr in years. That is the truth. I just hope I can show others how to be strong through times and to be able to stand up for yourself and loved ones no matter what!," she added. Bureau Report
