Hollywood actress Lindsay Lohan assaulted by waitress

London: Hollywood actress Lindsay Lohan, who turned 24 Friday, claims she was attacked by a waitress while she was enjoying a night out at a restaurant.

Lohan claims she was attacked "for no reason", reports contactmusic.com. "A waitress just hit me - punched me for no reason," Lohan posted on micro-blogging site Twitter. However, Lohan had no wild plans for her birthday owing to an alcohol-monitoring bracelet that she has to wear as part of her probation for driving under the influence of alcohol. "I mean there`s not much you can do with a monitoring bracelet and no money," one of Lohan`s friends was quoted as saying. She is due to appear in court Tuesday, where it shall be determined how well she is adhering to the court-imposed restrictions. IANS
