New York: Reese Witherspoon has revealed that she learnt a lot from her failed marriage to Ryan Phillippe.
The actress said she was "ridiculously young" when she married her "Cruel Intentions" co-star two years after they met at her 21st birthday party in 1997. The pair, who split in October of 2007, has two children, Ava and Deacon, both of whom were there when Witherspoon tied the knot with Jim Toth last weekend. "I was so, so young. I learnt a lot though. It was an excellent opportunity for me to really find out what it means to be a partner and to be in a marriage and it`s not anything that I thought it was," a newspaper quoted her as telling a magazine. Witherspoon said she realized a valuable lesson for her second marriage. "You can`t say, ``I don`t want to talk about that’. You just can`t. You`ve got to talk about it all," she added. ANI
