Susan Boyle close to cracking up, says family

Family of Britain’s Got Talent star Susan Boyle fear she is close to “cracking up” as relatives and show bosses row over her future career plans.

London, April 27: Family of Britain’s Got Talent star Susan Boyle fear she is close to “cracking up” as relatives and show bosses row over her future career plans.
The 48-year-old, who had turned an overnight celebrity with her jaw-dropping performance of the Les Misérables song ‘I Dreamed a Dream’ on the talent show, is said to be nearing a breakdown. Her family has expressed fears that she is being robbed of a chance to bank millions of dollars with a tour of America due to the contract with the show. “Just let her sing. We’re pleading with Simon Cowell to loosen the reins,” a news daily quoted her brother John as saying. He added: “Finally she has the chance to show the whole world her amazing talent, but she isn’t being allowed to.” But the ITV show’s bosses, on the other hand, were reportedly insisting her to follow the contract and appear for her slated performance in five weeks’ time. Meanwhile, Susan, a church volunteer in Scotland, has been shifted to an undisclosed location following concerns over her state of mind. John further said, “We are more and more worried about her health. She is not used to all this and when I speak to her she sounds exhausted.” ANI
