New Delhi: Pakistani traders in the sectors ranging from textiles, marble and dry fruits will showcase their products in the six-day fair, starting on Friday, in Mumbai.

The 'Made in Pakistan Expo 2012' is organised by Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) with the support of industry body Ficci.

The expo would have a well-diversified display of the finest textiles, marble, herbs and medicines, plastics and the Pakistani variety of dry fruits products, Ficci said in a statement.

The exhibition will be inaugurated on Friday jointly by Ficci and FPCCI Presidents R V Kanoria and Haji Fazal Kadir Khan Sherani respectively.

"FPCCI believes that the exhibition will certainly supplement the ongoing process of dialogue between India and Pakistan," it said.

Similar expos were held in other Indian cities including Delhi, Chandigarh and Kolkata.

"The country's leading textile houses have stepped forward to participate actively in this event," it added.

Pakistani products will include designers' collections showcasing prominent and top brand companies like Gul Ahmed, Portia, Bareeze and Mausummery.

After Mumbai, FPCCI is planning to hold exhibitions in other cities like Ahmadabad, Jaipur, Hyderabad, Chennai, Bangalore and Delhi.
