Michelle McGee getting paid to make appearances

Los Angeles: Michelle McGee, the woman at the centre of Sandra Bullock`s split from her husband Jesse James, is cashing in on her notoriety and is getting paid upto USD 5000 dollars to make appearances at parties. The tattoo model, who claimed to have had a long passionate affair with James, has been signed on for a string of appearances in Las Vegas where she will be dancing topless, reported People magazine online.

The 29-year-old who earlier this month openly apologized to Bullock, is scheduled to sign autographs, pose for photos at Vegas`s Deja Vu Showgirls club. "We`re just cashing in on her celebrity right now. I`m getting a lot of response for it. It should be a pretty big event. She`s a dancer. This is right down her alley," said Deju Vu advertising and marketing director Larry Beard. He expects to recoup the money he is spending on the event through McGee`s notoriety as "the other woman." "Good publicity, bad publicity, it`s all publicity to me. I mean, I don`t expect Sandra Bullock to show up," said Beard. The single mother of two who goes by the name `Bombshell`, had to be dropped from a recent Miami gig reportedly due to public outrage over her planned appearance, has found a perch for herself, in Las Vegas.
