London: Finally it’s official—men’s most annoying habit is leaving the toilet seat up, revealed a recent survey of Brit women.
More than half the women surveyed have revealed that failure to put the seat down was their fellow’s most irritating trait.
Leaving wet towels on the bed was the second most frustrating habit, followed by leaving dirty laundry on the floor.
The survey of 1,165 women was conducted by home shopping retailer 24studio.co.uk, which stocks a gadget to tackle the top pet hate.
Lav Nav is a gadget, which attaches to the toilet lid, lighting up in the dark and shining green when the seat is down and red if it is left up.
“The Lav Nav is ideal for fed-up women everywhere. Not only is it now easier to find the loo in the dark but the red light is a handy reminder to forgetful men that leaving the seat up is just not on,” a news daily quoted Leanne Murray, the producer of the gadget as saying.
