Mel B patches up with Murphy

London: Singer Melanie Brown and her ex-beau Eddie Murphy have put their bitter feud behind for the sake of their daughter. The former Spice Girl, also known as Mel B, hit the headlines in 2006 after a brief fling with the "Beverly Hills Cop" star left her pregnant. After their split, Murphy snubbed Mel B saying he will not accept the child until a DNA test proved he was the biological father.

But the singer now insists that she and Murphy are on friendlier terms for the sake of the three-year-old child, reports contactmusic.com. Mel B showed her support for Murphy last month at the premiere of "Shrek" movie by turning up for the event with Angel and her older daughter, Phoenix Chi. "We went to `Shrek` - we got invited by Angel`s father and we all went and were supportive and it was great family fun. It`s really cool. Everything`s like water under the bridge," said Mel B. IANS
