Tsunami scare for Pooja Bhatt’s ‘Jism 2’

Mumbai: Even as the whole of South East Asia reels under the fear of Tsunami post an 8.7 magnitude quake in Indonesia, Bollywood filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt has revealed that his daughter Pooja Bhatt is in Phuket where massive waves might hit the region. On Twitter, Mahesh said, “Pooja is in Phuket scouting locations for Jism 2. She just called saying that the Tsunami is about to hit Phuket. The Occean is receding.” Actor Dino Morea has accompanied Pooja to do recce for their forthcoming film ‘Jism 2’which stars international porn star Sunny Leone. The co-producer of the film took to Twitter and wrote, “In Phuket at the moment, and a serious Tsunami warning. Been advised to stay on higher ground for the next few hours.” Pooja Bhatt tweeted, “Been asked to stay put at a location short-listed for Jism2 in Phuket. All we can do is wait for the ocean to recede.” The quake, initially reported as 8.9 magnitude was later revised down to 8.6 by the USGS. Strong aftershocks were also reported. According to the media in Jakarta there were reports of the ground shaking for up to five minutes. However the tsunami alert which was sounded in 28 countries after the massive earthquake was later called off. "All well now folks! Tsunami alert called off! Roads re-opened,music levels raised, bubbly being poured. Hallelujah/Praise the lord!" Dino tweeted.
