Cheryl Cole pocketed £15K a second for American show

London: Pop beauty Cheryl Cole, reportedly pocketed £15,000 a second for her brief appearance on the American show.

The Girls Aloud beauty, who had been left humiliated after boss Simon Cowell fired her just a fortnight after filming started on the series, is having the last laugh by pocketing the hefty amount of cash for just 80 seconds of screen time. Despite Cheryl’s brief ­appearance, TV bosses at Fox in America have promised to honour her £1.2 million fee for the series. That works out at £15,000 for every second she appeared on screen, which means she banked a whopping £12,000 for each of the 99 words she spoke. “Cheryl’s the one laughing all the way to the bank. It’s got to be the easiest payday anyone has ever had,” The Daily Star quoted a source as saying. ANI
