Mumbai: Bollywood bombshell Kareena Kapoor is so busy these days, that the size-zero actress gave a royal miss to British singer Cheryl Cole’s special invitation during Cannes international film festival. Talking to a news daily, a source close to Kareena said, "Bebo was to attend the international film festival. ‘Tweedy` Cole was already there to perform a 30-minute set at a party thrown by luxury jewellery firm de Grisogono on May 18 at the Hotel du Cap. The singer had performed in front of a star-studded crowd including Naomi Campbell and fashion heir Margherita Missoni. The organisers heard that Cole was keen on meeting the Indian actress and an invite for the A-List event was sent out to her." According to the source, Kareena missed Cheryl Cole’s party due to her professional commitments. The actress is currently shooting for ‘Golmaal 3’ in Goa. "Though her managers were informed of the invitation, Bebo herself had to turn it down as the ‘Golmaal 3’ schedule in Goa had been fixed months ago and they were shooting the film`s climax with the entire cast (20 people in all). There was no way she could have opted out and made it to the party in France," the source said. When enquired the actress, Kareena confirmed the news and said, "I was invited to attend Cheryl`s party but was in Goa and overworked. Of course, it would have been fun to go and I would have loved to attend. I love her songs and was very keen on meeting her. Maybe I`ll meet her if I go to Cannes next year." Let’s hope Kareena’s hard work pays and ‘Golmaal 3’ emerges as a huge Box Office hit!
