Mumbai, April 25: They have worked together and looked wonderful in ‘Rang De Basanti’. But Aamir Khan and Siddharth Narayan are no more on backslapping terms – a fact that added to their warm onscreen chemistry in the nationalistic movie.Either Aamir underestimated the South-Indian actor, or Sid overestimated his worth in Bollywood. When Sid was offered a role in Aamir Khan’s ‘Delhi Belly’, he reportedly demanded an impressive 3 crore. Aamir might have gulped, but he did not digest it well. However, the story has officially been given a simpler angle as usual. Aamir Khan’s production house issued an official statement, declaring, “The film is about three guys who are roomies. The plan has always been to cast relative newcomers in the film. While Imran Khan was signed on to play one of the three roomies, we conducted several auditions for the other two. Kunal Roy Kapoor and Veer Das were ultimately zeroed in for the roles. Siddharth wasn’t supposed to be part of the film. So there shouldn’t be any bone of contention.” Troubles in Aamir’s controversies are hardly ever given time to marinate and spice up. This seems like another quick solution.
