Lady Gaga inspired by Tarantino

Lady Gaga says that she drew inspiration from Tarantino for her latest video.

Los Angeles: Pop star Lady Gaga has said that she drew inspiration from Hollywood director Quentin Tarantino for her latest video `Telephone`, which also features the `Pussy Wagon` from his cult hit `Kill Bill`. The 24-year-old star revealed that she was determined to incorporate elements of the director`s style in the video of the song, which features R&B star Beyonce Knowles, reported E! news.
"There certainly is a Tarantino-inspired quality in the video. I mostly love the way he uses different forms to create something new," said Gaga. The `Poker Face` hitmaker also got Tarantino`s best wishes for the video as he let her use his `Pussy Wagon`, a pick-up truck driven by Uma Thurman`s character in his film `Kill Bill`. "We were having lunch one day in Los Angeles and I was telling him about my concept for the video and he loved it so much he said, `You gotta use the Pussy Wagon`," said Gaga. The video shows Gaga jailed at first and then rescued by Beyonce, killing someone and making a poisoned sandwich for a group of truckers. PTI
