Debra Messing to return to TV

Debra is set to return to the small screen after more than half a decade.

New York: She became a household name after playing the goofy Grace Adler in the cult comedy `Will and Grace` and Debra Messing is set to return to the small screen after more than half a decade. The 41-year-old who took a break from showbiz to start a family after the end of `Will and Grace` in 2004, has been cast in the new ABC series `Wright Vs Wrong`.
The actress has already shot the first episode of the comedy which will see her play a right-wing political expert, reported New York Daily News. After the eight-year-long run of the hit TV series, Messing married actor-producer Daniel Zelman, with whom she raises a four-year-old son. The redheaded actress was a virtual unknown when she was picked to play the lovable character of Grace in 1996. Then 30, she was relatively old by Hollywood standards and was considering taking a break from acting. The role made her famous, and during it`s run she starred in a clutch of big screen movies. After leaving the show Messing appeared in the mini-series `The Starter Wife`, for which she won a Tony Award. PTI
