London, April 25: Teen heartthrob Zac Efron has confessed of bribing security guards to let him hide in Hollywood studios to escape from paparazzi.
`The High School Musical` star is convinced that he has found the ideal spot, an un-named LA studio lot where he hides whenever he`s being followed by the photographers, the Contactmusic reported.
"I`ve kinda got it figured out. I just pull into the lot, and they can`t follow me," the website quoted Efron telling to GQ magazine.
But the actor admits there`s a cost to the hiding spot he has to pay off security guards with signed memorabilia.
"The first time I did it, they weren`t going to let me in. The guy at the gate was like, `What are you gonna do for me?` He`s like, `I got kids,`" Efron said.
"And I was like, `Well, I got a poster in the trunk!` It`s smart to keep some swag in the trunk, just in case."
The 21-year-old star and his girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens are among the top targets for Los Angeles` intrepid tabloid photographers.
