Adele laughs off engagement rumours

London: Adele, who first sparked rumours of an engagement when she wore a diamond ring to the BRIT awards in February, has come forward to deny reports that she is planning to marry her boyfriend Simon Konecki.

The ‘Someone Like You’ singer took to Twitter on tuesday as she celebrated her 24th birthday, telling her followers she was not set to walk down the aisle anytime soon. “Had a lovely birthday, thanks for all the messages. I got a blossom tree! I didn’t get a cake from Rih Rih and I’m not engaged, blah blah x,” the Daily Mail quoted her as tweeting.
