London: Katy Perry is known for her kitsch dress sense and figure-hugging outfits but the pop star has ditched her usual look.
On the Day 2 of the Coachella Music Festival in California the 25-year-old embraced a Native American Indian-style sundress and silver gladiator sandals, Daily Mail online reported.
Her Indian-themed dress was in complete contrast to the revealing outfit she wore for the first day of the festival.
Perry left little to the imagination as she stepped out with friends wearing a black bondage-style mini-dress earlier.
Writing on her Twitter page, Perry said she had been `twerking` (slang for `dancing`) all weekend.
Missing out on all the fun was her fiance Russell Brand, who spent the weekend in Boston.
Perry`s weekend in Coachella came after a busy week for the star, which saw her split her time between apartment-hunting in New York with Brand and recording her upcoming third album. The couple was spotted checking out flats in Manhattan`s trendy East Village last week.
They already have homes in London and Los Angeles and it seems they`re hoping to add the Big Apple to their property portfolio.
Despite Perry`s bridesmaid Rihanna admitting the couple are getting married in India later this year, recent reports suggested they may have changed their mind and are now considering Japan.
Brand proposed to Perry after four months of dating on New Year`s Eve, during a romantic trip to India`s Taj Rambagh Palace hotel.
