Ranbir to do an item number for kids flick

Taking time out from shooting for his two under production movies `Rockstar` and `Barfee`, Ranbir Kapoor is doing his first ever promotional video for Vikas Bahl`s `Chillar Party`

Mumbai: Taking time out from shooting for his two under production movies `Rockstar` and `Barfee`, Bollywood heartthrob Ranbir Kapoor is doing his first ever promotional video for Vikas Bahl`s `Chillar Party`.

This is for the first time ever, there is going to be an item song or promotional video for a kids flick. Chillar Party`s music has been composed by Amit Trivedi and this particular song is a mix of street instruments, local voices and dialect. Choreographed by Bosco Ceasar who has also mixed street dancing with contemporary style, the song is sung by Amit and his mother. "Ranbir saw the film and loved it. Thats when we requested him if he would do an item song for the kids and he loved the idea, and readily agreed," said director Bahl. Ranbir plays himself in the video in a "tapori" style which is inspired by one of the characters in the film. The young actor has been bonding with the kids to make them comfortable and getting inspired by some of their moves, he said. PTI
