New Delhi: The Supreme Court on Wednesday pulled up the Centre for failure to take steps during last
six decades to bring back money deposited in foreign banks.
The apex court said economy, per capita income would have gone up and income tax rate would have reduced if money in foreign banks had been brought to India.
SC also rejected the Centre's plea against setting up SIT to monitor and probe the issue of black money inside and outside the country.
