Mumbai: International star Hugh Jackman was the cynosure of all eyes at the closing ceremony of FICCI media and film conclave. And when the actor said that he would love to work in Indian films, sure one man was all ears. Sources confirm that ‘Dabangg’ director Abhinav Kashyap was seen mingling with the Hollywood superstar and discussing his next directorial venture – ‘Project 18’. After a rather unceremonious ouster of the debutant director from the team of Salman Khan and brothers, Abhinav seems to be trudging the path of filmdom with élan. Speaking to daily, a source revealed, “The meeting between Abhinav and Jackman happened at a five star hotel. There were a couple of Australian directors present.Under this Indo-Australian initiative, Australian director Bill Bennett will come to India and work with Kashyap.” Another source present at the venue said, “Abhinav and Jackman hit it off very well. They spoke about Jackman`s films. The director proceeded to narrate the synopsis of Project 18 to Jackman, who was quite impressed with the storyline.” “After discussing the film at great length, it is still unclear if Kashyap will sign Jackman for his film”, the source added.
