New Delhi: ‘Kahaani’ star Vidya Balan, who is known not only for her acting but also for her love for Sabyasachi sarees, has reportedly shunned her six yard sarees and has gone for a total image makeover for her upcoming movie ‘Ghanchakkar’ opposite Emraan Hashmi.
According to a tabloid, the beauty famous for her curves is playing a loud Punjabi housewife in the movie and she will be seen in dark bright coloured salwar-kurtis.
The newly-married actress is also set to reveal a glimpse of her Punjabi wardrobe, which she has donned in her upcoming film in a photo exhibition.
It is also said that the producers of the film, Ronnie Screwvala and Siddharth Roy Kapur, are looking to have an exhibition of her looks through her clothes.
“All the clothes that she has worn will be put out for display post the trailer launch of the film which is slated to happen by the end of the month,” the source said.
On the other hand, the writer-director Rajkumar Gupta said, “Vidya`s looks are something to watch out for. No wonder we have an extensive promotional campaign around her looks!”
Well, all we can say is that Vidya’s Punjabi husband Siddharth Roy Kapur will surely be the one looking forward for this look.
