New Delhi: Bharti Airtel shares fell approximately 2 percent after reports of penalty likely to be imposed on the company for flouting licence norms.
Yesterday it was reported the Department of Telecom is likely to slap a demand notice of Rs 650 crore on Bharti Airtel for allegedly violating licence norms on subscriber local dialing (SLD) services.
Bharti shares were down 1.81 percent at 308.60 rupees from its previous close of 314.30 rupees.
