AR Rahman wins laurels at the 16th Annual Critics Choice Awards

Mozart of Madras once again did India proud by winning the coveted Best Original Song award at the 16th Critics Choice Awards, Los Angeles, for his spirited number ‘If I Rise’ in collaboration with Dido. Written by Rollo Armstrong and Dido, ‘If I Rise’ is one of the soundtracks performed by AR Rahman and Dido for Oscar winner Danny Boyle’s ‘127 Hours’.

AR Rahman has also been nominated for the 2011 Golden Globe Award for Best Original Score for ‘127 Hours’.
