Paris Hilton embroiled in lingerie lawsuit

New York: Socialite Paris Hilton is suing the bosses of a lingerie firm based in Italy over allegations that it failed to promote her fashion line in Europe.

The blonde bombshell inked a deal with Le Bonitas last year to launch her own range of lingerie, beachwear and pyjamas, but alleged that the five-year deal collapsed due to lack of promotion, reported a website. In a recent lawsuit filed in Manhattan, Hilton is taking a legal action against the bosses with her lawyers claiming that the 30-year-old star is owed USD 1.5 million in guaranteed royalties due to breach of contract. But La Bonitas` legal team has fired back, saying that Hilton ignored the lingerie designs and prototypes sent to her for approval. PTI
