Mumbai: Leading stock exchange BSE will conduct a special trading session on Saturday in a bid to test its disaster recovery software.
The exchange will hold special live trading session in the derivatives, cash and Securities Lending and Borrowing Scheme (SLB) segment from its disaster recovery site on Saturday, May 11, BSE said in a circular.
The two-hour trading would start at 1115 hrs on the BSE.
The exchange said that Liquidity Enhancement Incentive Programme Schemes (LEIPS) would be extended for trading members during the session.
Under the scheme, brokers and other market intermediaries are given incentives for a specified period of time to bring in liquidity and generate investor interest in those securities which have limited trading activity.
The transactions done during the special trading session would be settled under separate settlement.
