BSE to suspend trading in 49 companies
Mumbai: The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) Tuesday suspended trading in securities of 49 companies for non-compliances of various clauses of the listing agreement.

"The 49 companies have failed to comply with various provisions of the listing agreement up to quarters ended June 2011," BSE said in a statement here.

Trading in securities of the 49 companies will be suspended from April 20 on account of non-compliance with the provisions of the listing agreement, it added.

The stock exchange said if a company complies with the provisions of the listing agreement by April 13, then the trading will be suspended till April 26.

In case a company fails to comply with the provisions till April 20, then its trading will be suspended till it complies with the norms.
