Brit Awards are ‘fixed’: Lily Allen

London: Singer Lily Allen has claimed that Brit Awards are ‘fixed’.
The singer, who was awarded the 2010 best female artist award last week, said the prize ‘means nothing’. The 25-year-old made the claims on the Sky Arts series In Confidence. "The Brit Awards is a TV show, and a record company executive makes deals with ITV and the producers about who wins what award in exchange for performance time," the Telegraph quoted her as saying. "I got one last week and it just meant absolutely nothing to me to be honest. It just became a non-award," she added. However, ITV and the Brit Trust, who organized the awards, have strongly denied the claims. ANI
