Mumbai: Actress Raveena Tandon will be seen in a de-glamourised role in her upcoming bilingual film `Ginn Liya Aasman`.
"Now headed for the shoot, last four-day schedule of `Ginn Liya Aasman`, turning out to be a sweet film, am in my non glamorous avataar, the Day begins," Raveena wrote on Twitter. Earlier, Raveena had turned de-glam for Raja Sen`s `Laboratory`, a bilingual movie (Bengali and Hindi) based on a story written by Rabindranath Tagore. `Ginn Liya...`, produced by Mudassar Aziz, Vishwajit Gaikwad and Anil Bohra, is a story of a boy, whose father -- a naval officer, goes missing after a plane crash. Raveena plays the mother to the six-year-old boy and wife of the naval officer. Earlier, the 37-year-old actress had to take lessons in a Marathi dialect, spoken in the interiors of the state. The film, directed by Rishi Desphande, is expected to release this year. PTI
