Swift performed at the Verizon Center in Washington Aug 1, and after her performance took some time off to visit the Arlington National Cemetery in Virginia. The singer was spotted walking the grounds and laying flowers on the graves of John F. Kennedy and Robert Kennedy, reports contactmusic.com. She later stopped at the famous Lincoln Memorial where she honoured Abraham Lincoln and posted a photo from her visit on micro-blogging site Twitter. "After the show, we went to see Abe!! Pretty magical. It was my first time seeing the Lincoln Memorial up close (missed the school trip in 8th grade cause I had a show)," posted the 21-year-old. IANS
