JLo’s ex wins legal fight to release ‘intimate’ home video

Washington: Jennifer Lopez has lost a legal battle to keep an intimate home video from her first marriage under wraps.

The singer’s ex-husband Ojani Noa has won the fight that has been ongoing for years, and is now set to release the footage. Lopez had been successful in the legal fight until now citing that the release of the footage would violate the confidentiality agreement Noa signed. Court documents reveal that Noa managed to find a loophole in their confidentiality agreement from the split of their short-lived marriage in which he was never to speak about her publicly. That law apparently did not apply to him selling a video tape showing personal moments with Lopez to his girlfriend Claudia Vazquez who is doing the publishing of the said tape on his behalf, reports Radaronline.com. A Los Angeles judge issued a ruling Friday morning that allows Vazquez to release the footage Lopez doesn’t want the public to see. Ed Meyer, the executive producer of the project said: "Claudia Vazquez has been allowed to release the home videos of Ojani and Jennifer. The project will deal with JLo’s rise to fame, and her marriage to Ojani. Claudia will be meeting with video distributors on Tuesday, and hopefully, a deal can be made very soon." Lopez and Cuban-born Noa were married February 1997 and divorced in 1998. They met when Noa was working as a waiter in a Miami restaurant. ANI
