Mumbai, April 16: With Shah Rukh Khan heading to South Africa to cheer for his Kolkata Knight Riders, the busy actor recently gave an interview in a news daily before his departure and expressed how much he will miss India, especially Kolkata. When enquired whether IPL 2 will be a hit in South Africa, a positive Shah Rukh said that given the global appeal of cricket along with recognizable faces, including players from the international circuit, IPL 2 will definitely be a successful venture. Shah Rukh added that “people in South Africa love me, my films and my shows there, so I should have an advantage.” Ask him about his new video of KKR and a beaming Shah Rukh is all praise for the Vishal Shekhar composition. However, the actor was earlier skeptical to be the part of the video due to his recent shoulder injury but the dimpled star couldn’t resist for long and went ahead with it. When asked whether IPL becoming an unsafe zone for movie releases, Shah Rukh said that he has always been an ardent admirer of sports and wants to promote it in every way. However, the actor said that he is an entertainer who is associated with movies, stage-shows, TV and sports. He added that IPL did affect TV during last year but this season, it won’t be the same. A cheerful Shah Rukh mentioned that IPL is an entertainment platform full of Bollywood stars like Juhi, Preity, Shilpa and many more. It seems Bollywood and cricket fans are getting ready for another doze of entertainment, courtesy IPL 2!
